Haywards Heath Town 0 Rottingdean 3 - 9th March 2008
Heath came out against high flying promotion favourites Rottingdean hoping to reverse the previous defeats against them, but were blown away by some atrocious weather in the first half.
Heath tried to pack the midfield but Rottingdean adapted to the difficult conditions better and soon put Michelle Winnard in the Heath goal under pressure. After 15 minutes Rottingdean went ahead and added another before half time.
After the break Heath were much more competitive and battled through only conceding one further goal. Heath had their moments and Lou Creasey, who had a fine game, hit the woodwork for the second consecutive game. For Heath Mica Saunders was given the Player of the Match and special mention must go to Winnard , normally an outfield defender, who had an excellent game deputising in goal for the 1st time owing to injuries to both regular keepers.
