Heath arrived full of hope that at the 4th attempt this Cup game could be finished and with the best result, but alas it was not to be.
For the first 35 minutes the game see-sawed from end to end with both sides having chances. As the half continue Heath started playing with confidence passing the ball with ease and defending well. However in the ten minutes before the break Heath conceded two poor goals.
After half time, despite conceding a third goal after 50 minutes, Heath valiantly continued to play and showed tremendous effort and commitment to ensure that there would be no repetition of the collapse against the same team that occurred at the end of October. For Heath Cath Diffey played on the left instead of her normal right side position and had an excellent game, linking well with Karen Bridgewater.
Whilst so far this season results have not been as good as hoped there is no doubt that if points were awarded for “keeping their heads high “ and giving their all until the final whistle , Heath would be arguably at the top of that table.
