Against the best team in Sussex and the holders of the cup for the past six years, Heath went out of the Sussex Cup.
Never allowing their heads to drop they ran themselves into the ground against a quality young team. At the start, Heath were competitive and held the Brighton attack for the first 20 minutes before going behind. After this Brighton scored some fine goals, but were often thwarted by some good defending and some outstanding saves from Kelly Lambert.
Heath's attitude throughout was excellent and augers well for the remainder of the season. Ella Kenny made her first appearance for Heath and showed that she is a fine addition to the team.
