Lindfield 6 Haywards Heath Town 2(Lou Creasey, Mica Saunders) 17th Dec 2006
Heath finally played a game after four weeks without a fixture due to the weather whilst Lindfield had only missed one game in the same period, and this clearly was apparent in the first half when Heath conceded three goals in rapid succession. Heath improved in the second half and scored two goals through Lou Creasey and Mica Saunders. Kelly Lambert, Heath's player of the match made some excellent saves, especially one from the penalty spot. It was pleasing to see Mel Bramley back after her absence through injury since early October. Heath showed strength of character in the 2nd half to respond to a deficit of 3 goals and were rewarded with a 2nd half “score” of “3 - 2”
Heath now go into the Christmas and New Year break and hope to be back in a more competitive vein of form in early January .
