This was a disappointing start for the 3rds who failed to show the determination and commitment so evident in training. They nearly scored when Susanna Wickens [Heaths “Player of the Match”] laid on an excellent pass for twin Charlotte who’s chip just failed to beat the keepers outstretch hands . The 2nd half saw an improvement as Manager Brian Holmwood made it clear what was required but whilst defensive errors flattered Rottingdean the team now know what is required of them next week.
