With regular keeper Natasha Sole unavailable Heath played Emma Skilton in goal , and though she is excellent keeper, she was missed as an outfield player. Heath held their own until midway through the 1st half when Langton went ahead. Hayley Plummer [Heaths “Player of the Match”] had a chance to level the score before halftime whilst Heath were pleased to scramble the ball away from the goalmouth.
In the 2nd half Heath battled well despite several players not being 100% but with Heath pressing hard for an equaliser Langton broke free 5 mins from the end to score their 2nd. Up front Sherry Goodchild played her 1st full game for the Club and showed plenty of potential .
