YET MORE SUCCESS

This season just completed has been a great one for the Club, and in particular for the 1st Team .

The 1st Team finished the season in runners up position in Div 1[W] of the South East Counties Women's Football League, just one point behind the Divisional Champions Eastbourne Town , and have been promoted to the Premier Div

They also reached the Chairman's Cup final where they took Eastbourne Town to penalties, falling in the “sudden death” stage.

AND they have been voted by their opponents during the season as the Divisional

“Best Sporting Team”.

It is quite rare for a team to be successful on the pitch AND receive this award but the club are well known for their sporting traditions , with the 1st team having also received the award the season before last, whilst the 2nds have also been recognised as their Divisions “Best Sporting Team” 3 times in the last 9 seasons , making a total of 5 sporting awards in the last 9 seasons.

The Club have also, for the 2nd season running , been chosen as the
